One of our most popular window coverings is the room darkening Neptune Goodnight zebra blind. Its darkening effect filters light and is ideal for rooms that require darkness such as bedrooms. By controlling and preventing light from entering the room, it keeps you out of sight. Its unique look gives you a remarkable effect in the room where it is located. Its 3″ room darkening fabric alternated with a 2″ sheer bands between them creates an open and closed effect. Our Neptune collection is offered with the option of light blockers on the sides of the window frame when customizing your blind, for an even darker effect in your room.

  • Take all your measurements to the nearest 1/8", rounding down
  • Measure the Width first, then the Height
  • Use a metal measuring tape to take all measurements
  • Make sure to measure twice

WIDTH: Measure from left to right in 3 positions (top, middle, bottom). Take the smallest measurement.

HEIGHT: Measure from top to bottom in 3 positions (left, center, right). Take the largest measurement.

Do not make any deductions when you are measuring. The manufacturer will be sure to make the deductions by removing 1/8" off the fabric on each side to ensure a perfect fit.

OUTSIDE MOUNT

WIDTH: Give the measurements of the space you want to cover from left to right.

HEIGHT: Give the measurements of the space you want to cover from top to bottom.

The width and height measurement should always include the cassette, valence, headrail or roller. The fabric will be approximately 5/8" less on each side. If, for example, the space to be covered is 60", it is recommended to order 64" (being an additional 2" on each side) to ensure that the entire frame is covered, avoiding any gaps that would allow the light to shine through.

Notes:

1. Ensure you have enough depth to install your chosen product.
2. Take note of any door knobs, locks, handles or cranks that might be in the way of your blind.

1. For ceiling mounted blinds you need a minimum of 1 3/4" clearance to install the brackets.
