Minimum depth required for inside mount: 1 3/4”
Inside mount with 1” block: Provide measurements of the exact width and height of the frame of the window. Do not make any deductions. The manufacturer will be sure to deduct for a perfect fit. Inside mount will be recessed with 1” block. 1/8” deducted on the height and width.
Outside mount with 1″ block: Provide the total width and height measurements of the window frame. Add at least 1″ to the width and height to accommodate the 1″ blind frame. For the most secure installation, add 2″ to the width and height.
Inside mount on lip (no block): Provide the total width and height measurements of the window frame. These will be the fabric measurements, and the skylight blind frame will extend 1″ beyond these measurements to hang on the sill.
